Apple Cinnamon Lassi

Serves: 1. Prep: 15 mins.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 apple
  • 480 ml plain yogurt
  • 2 pinches cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Agave Syrup or 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 ice cubes (optional)
  • mint leaf to garnish

METHOD:

  • Peel the apple and remove core, then chop it into small pieces
  • Add to a blender: the yoghurt; a pinch of cinnamon and the syrup or sugar
  • Blend, making sure the lassi is smooth in texture
  • Now add the apple pieces and blend again, making sure the lassi is smooth in texture
  • If required, add the ice cubes to the blender and blend one more time to desired smoothness
  • Pour the lassi into a glass and top it with a little cinnamon and mint leaf
